This section of the website is dedicated to all the people who make books happen. In it, we are compiling a series of articles on all aspects of the creative process -- from concept to cash register, as it were. Some are ideas developed in-house; others are contributed by experts from every nook and cranny of the book business. The content is made up primarily of downloadable articles that you can read, study and save (or not) in what we know is your pursuit of excellence in your chosen field. We'll also be scouring the Internet for links you can use to keep yourself up to date on industry trends and developments. Materials are generally categorized, as you'll see to the right. But every once in a while we run into something that simply defies categorization. So we've invented an "Off the Wall" category that we call: "Off the Wall." We tried for a better name, but couldn't come up with one, so that's where we put the contributions we can't fit into a pigeonhole with a label. And often, these articles are the ones that lead the industry to some great leap forward, so don't overlook this little niche. To find materials relevant to each category, just click on it.
